The Donovan Family

Here are some collages from my shoot with Donovan Family this weekend. They were all so generous and sweet. Their home was the perfect setting, and the rain held off long enough for us to get some great shots outside.

Sydney's Senior Shoot

Sydney is a busy guy these days. Not only is he a Senior at McNary High School, but he's involved in choir, music, tennis, honors classes, college classes AND he has a job. I met Sydney his Freshman year when he started coming to the Boys and Girls Club in Salem. He is one of those people that you want to see succeed because he works so hard at everything he does. This last summer he volunteered numerous hours at the Club, helping out where ever he could. It was an honor to take his senior photos. We decided on Willamette University as our location because Sydney is considering attending that college. I know that no matter where he ends up, he will be an amazing student!!

Kristina's Senior Shoot

Talk about a perfect morning for photos. The fall colors and morning sun created a gorgeous palette of golds and blues. The perfect setting for this senior shoot in downtown Salem. Here are some of my favorite images from this morning.

Jaimee and Aaron's Wedding

There are couples that you see together and you just know that they are suppose to be together. That is the case with Jaimee and Aaron. These two are down right beautiful together. There was an electricity between them that I could feel and after a long summer of shooting people, places and things they really reminded me of why I love shooting weddings. Jaimee and I met in high school and ever since I've known her, she has loved Aaron. I think deep down she knew this day would come... even when we were 15 years old. It was an honor to witness and capture her dream come true. Jaimee found her prince and I have no doubts that they will live happily ever after. Congratulations guys!!

Patrick and Sear's Wedding

Here are a few of my favorite photos from Patrick and Sear's wedding. They were married in July at the Cone Chapel on Willamette's campus. The chapel was adorable and really set a romantic and warm environment for the ceremony. It was a fun day and we got some great images.

Alison's Senior Collage

Here are some samples of Alison's senior collages. I love doing collages for people because I can use multiple images on one print. Alison is a doll and was a lot of fun to photograph!

Jason and Karen's Wedding

Here are a few photos from Karen and Jason's wedding. They were married at the father of the bride's home, which was the perfect spot for a summer wedding. Karen's dad has quite the green thumb.

Alexa's Senior Photos

Well, it's been a while since I've updated my blog and thought I should take some time to catch up. Alexa is going to be a Senior at South Salem this upcoming year and we did her Senior photos back in July. Alexa was a pleasure to photograph because as you can see, she is extremely photogenic. It was awesome for me to get to bring out the "girly" side of Alexa, as she told me that she rarely wears makeup or curls her hair. "I feel like a girl!" she said as we snapped photos and walked around downtown. Alexa has committed to play softball at U of O next year. Her tournament team just took 5th at Nationals, and she just started playing water polo. She is one busy girl and I wish her the best in her Senior year! Work it Girl!! :-)

Patrick and Sear's Engagement Session

Here are a few of my favorite shots from Patrick and Sear's engagements shoot. We had some fun roaming around downtown, and dodged the rain for the most part. I'm looking forward to creating their guest book from the images we got! Here's a sneak peak!

Oregon Coast Family Shoot

Today I got to do a family shoot at the Oregon Coast. The weather is just what you would expect in early Spring... soggy, cold, windy...ahhhh, every one's favorite Spring break weather.

Staci is the sister of one of my really good friends. Her and her husband Brett had twins last summer and just moved back to Oregon from the Boise area. Brett's family planned a trip to the Oregon Coast for Spring Break so they called me up to take some family photos while they were all together. So, to all of you wondering why we didn't pick a better a day to do a shoot at the beach, now you know. Despite the weather being so dreadful, I must say that the family handled the conditions with poise and grace. Rarely does a photographer come across a whole group of young children that are all cooperative, but it was my lucky day. The kiddos were freezing, wet, and ready for their promised ice cream after the first photo, but they stuck it out like champs.

Staci and Brett,
You have an amazing family and I thank you for allowing me to be apart of your special time together. I hope you like you're sneak peak! ;-)

Luis and Alyssa's Engagement Session

Today I got to take Luis and Alyssa's  engagement photos. The photos were taken at Deepwood, and we really lucked out on the weather. Every once and a while the sun would come out and create some really nice lighting. It was great getting to spend some time with the future bride and groom, and I hope they like their sneak peak!! ;-)

Props to Luis for thinking of this shot!
